I personally love Watchmen and Sandmen, and they're really the only two graphic novels I've read. I admit the colors in Watchmen are garish, and the characters all have issues to the point where it gets ridiculous after a while, but I loved it. I've always hoped for a Watchmen movie because I'm so intrigued by how it would be adapted...it's such a dark story that I feel is set so firmly in the Cold War that I wondered how it could ever be adapted. I'm cautiously optimistic after the trailer and knowing that it's David Hayter's screenplay (Solid Snake FTW), but we'll see.

Sandman is the shit. There's a reason I use one userpic.

I'm so glad I'm not the only one who didn't think Batman Forever wasn't shit! It was my first Batman movie, and I still have a place for it.
