Yeah, I liked the movie's interpretation of Adler very much, starting with the fact that she got a divorce. Watson's dreaming about Holmes criticizing "A Scandal in Bohemia" in this fic is actually sort of a dig at ACD; iirc the way he describes her in that story is very heavily coded as, essentially, a prostitute. Oh ACD.

And yes, there is a sequel at which I am still plugging away. With lots more Adler.
