We skipped the hike, which is ironic considering that when K lived in Kobe and I lived in Kyoto we literally climbed mountains every other weekend.

It is pretty impressive, though. Apparently granite from there was used in the steps of the White House (also ironic, considering that Georgia tried to secede from the Union).
