I was thinking about that, too--both of the A:TLA vids felt like vids more than AMVs, to me, too. The cutting and lack of added effects, plus they both seemed to have an investment in/conversation with the narrative of the characters and the show? I haven't seen the show yet, though, so I can't comment more than that.
