The show is SO self-aware it cracks me up and I do have a feeling that Abe Minoru is a reference to SOMETHING but I haven't quite figured out what yet.

And I think them calling Maya tsundere is actually a roundabout way of making fun of that phenomenon because she doesn't strike me as tsundere either. At first glace maaaaaybe but we haven't gotten the dere dere part at all.
