Yeah, that's a good question. I assume he's talking about the kekkai, but I wasn't sure, so I just went with a very literal translation. The only other possible variation I can think of would be "the four corners of noon," since they're connected with の, which could be either possessive or ablative, temporal in this case. I wouldn't be surprised if it has something to do with onmyou.
