The imbalance in the two sides of the book is striking. Either Lewis didn't know his story well, or he just ignored his authorial senses tingling.

I am slowly accumulating more problems with the metaphysics of Narnia, but yes, Edmund. I appreciated anew all over again his vindication in this book, even though Lewis shoehorns it into his "growing up is bad" agenda. Sigh.
