Ahh, I haven't looked at the pages yet. Shows you how much I know. . .

I honestly haven't read Angelic Layer; I've watched the anime but I haven't read the manga cause I haven't been able to find it. Out of the volumes I have by CLAMP, Kobato is the shortest. I think the anime was more fulfilling about the bottle though.
