Shadow puppets are so cool! I read a few books about shadow plays of the Ramayana (and a little on the Mahabharata) for a conference paper on Sita Sings the Blues, and I was really impressed at the spread and variation of the same stories in so many versions. And we think media mix is such a new concept! Wish I could see one live.
