I kind of want a thoughtful fic that is basically Harry and Ginny learning to live together and to love each other in a way more complex and solid way as those things wear off and they have a life together they still don't want to abandon.
Heh, I'd read it. Though I support book!Harry/Ginny quite a lot, because it was always clear to me from the books that they were basically very well matched, even if JKR never let Ginny be quite as awesome as she could be.
it also always worked for me that he came to who he was as Headmaster THROUGH having almost made really, really horrific pseudo-well-intentioned mistakes.
