Because, dear reading list, I know I got this from one of you, or a comment to one of your posts--who was it who recommended Mori Kaoru's Otoyomegatari, and what about it did you specifically mention besides the British anthropologist? 

(I like it so far, but I'm trying to remember what else I was expecting for review purposes.)

....I'm horribly in love with it and might have recced it, but it was primarily for the "OMG HAND DRAWN AND INKED PATTERNS AND OMFG THE CLOTHES and I want to have the artist's babies!".
