My copy of J.N. Adams' The Latin Sexual Vocabulary is in a box and inaccessible right now. But it occurred to me I should mention the book to you, as it is the authoritative work on the subject and does a lot with Martial.

(Also it is crossing-guard orange with the title in giant black block letters which can be seen from yards away, which never ceases to amuse me.)
