I'm so glad that you were wearing a helmet! Thank goodness the people in the car were kind enough to take you to the hospital and fix up your bike, too. The parking garage fee thing does sound pretty hilarious, since the healthcare system always seem to get stuck on small hitches like that. It reminds me of how my father's insurance plan and my school's insurance plan bounced an ambulance fee between each other for months.
