I'm surprised that you think Watanuki looks a lot like Clow in this chapter--I thought he looked much more like Yuuko. (Actually, I just found out from la_vie_noire that Clow is drawn by Mokona, unlike Watanuki and most of the other male characters who are drawn by Tsubaki Nekoi. Strange.) I guess I'm more struck by their radically different builds and heights than by their facial expressions.
I initially thought that Watanuki simply couldn't believe that Yuuko was dead, but after reading this translation it dawned on me that he may be waiting in the store to die and meet her at the Far Shore. If that's the truth, he's going against the most important lesson that Yuuko taught him: that he shouldn't die, due to all of the people who would be hurt by his leaving them. How could he so blatantly and selfishly ignore Yuuko's last wish, after all that he went through?
