Hmm...I wonder if the angel is Kobato. I always thought that her being an angel would be too obvious, but the angel in the flashbacks does look like her-and falling out of a tree is definitely something Kobato would do!
I guess that if it is her, then she doesn't really remember.
But then, I also wonder if maybe she's just an expy of that angel-perhaps God made her in the angel's image or something to test Ioryogi. She's definitely female, and angels aren't supposed to have a gender. And Ioryogi doesn't really act like he's in love with her. He's built up affection for her over the series, but I wouldn't say he was IN love.
Ah...CLAMP finally give us some more jigsaw pieces of the past, but they don't make a pattern yet!
