Seen around and around: Post the names of all the files in your WIP folder, regardless of how non-descriptive or ridiculous.

the derailment
, aka The Problem of Susan, mine (Narnia, the same story in two files, wtf)
The Winter King (Narnia, Edmund meets Father Christmas)
In Black Ink, Bright (Sherlock Holmes, sequel to Second Face)
T'Mir in San Fran (Star Trek TOS books, sequel to On Alien Seas, and Shores)
A Scandal in Admiralty House (Sherlock Holmes steampunk AU, #2)
Honi soit qui mal y pense (Sherlock Holmes steampunk AU, #3)
Nothing on Earth of Interest (Sherlock Holmes steampunk AU, #4)
Teahouse (Gmail teahouse theme)

There are some others in there, but none of them are going anywhere. Ask questions, if you have them; you shall be answered.

And now I want to know what Monkey is doing meanwhile. Thanks for sharing!

Oooh, I would love to read about Edmund and Father Christmas.

I like this a lot.
wintercreek: Partial view of a woman's shoulder, hair and ear, face outside the frame, with the text "J'aime et j'espere." ([general] I love and I hope)

Ooo, can I see a bit of what's in "the derailment" file?

Oh, I love that. Can't wait to see it when (if) it is finished.

Intriguing! I have been trying to imagine what the future of that world might look like.

The T'Mir sequel! And the airship Sherlock AU sequels! Are they things you are still planning on doing? Because if you are, I look forward to reading!

Of course, I'm much more interested in the papers/articles/non-fiction/whatever that are in the same folder? Or a similar folder.

...if you keep one to begin with.

[identity profile] starlady38.livejournal.com 2011-02-14 10:15 pm (UTC)(link)
That's a different folder, or more precisely set of folders--my document organization needs an overhaul. I don't have much, though, aside from that paper I wrote on Sensouron a while back--my goal is to revise it and start sending it out this spring. Projected ideas: something about Tezuka; something about Eden of the East and labor in contemporary Japan.

[identity profile] corneredangel.livejournal.com 2011-02-14 10:25 pm (UTC)(link)
Ooh, looking forward to both Eden and whatever you have on labor issues! Mine is a short chapter on fansubs that I'm way overdue on, a revision that's already been tentatively accepted - now just need to finish said revision, two half-baked ideas, and two more that at this point are just titles waiting for actual content...

And I'm not still back in grad school/again back in grad school why exactly?

I like how the description assumes there's only one WIP folder. (Me, I have separate ones for poetry, novels, and short fiction, plus a file-transfer folder for moving between computers which overlaps with all three.)

Yeah, this was the Documents-->Fiction-->Fanfic folder (Finished ones go into their own folder inside Fanfic).
