I really like how Kobato completely turned the tables on Okiura in their conversation just by being herself.

I simultaneously feel bad for Kohaku and am glad that CLAMP are making this reincarnation thing much less creepy than they could. Also, poor Ginsei, do they not learn about feelings in the otherworld? 笑

It occurs to me that a reasonable Mandarin proficiency standard to aim for is being able to translate from, or at least read, the Chinese raws.

Thank you!! I was wondering, in pg 12 where Fujimoto is thinking to himself "why, why do my always by okiura," you have a big space between "my" and "always"; was there a space there on purpose in the raw? (as if to hide something that he said?)

Yeah, there is a huge gap in the text, and on the next page he realizes that the gap was there and is wondering what he didn't think to himself to fill it. It's an interesting way to represent what's going on in his mind, for sure.
