i actually worked parttime at a doc's office, too...as few years back while taking some classes.
it was depressing to see how much stuff actually costs, their markup and how much insurance paid and then how much people without insurance paid. grrrr. and how much the doc's made...and then how much the parttime employees made.

avoid looking at billing as much as you can. :P
