Brief update

I got my wisdom teeth out on Wednesday morning. My friends S and J accompanied me to the oral surgeon and drove me home and made me milkshakes and scrambled eggs afterward. We watched Wall-E and had a pretty chill time. My face has definitely swelled up some--particularly on the lower right side, which is where the tooth that had "roots like a fish hook," to quote the surgeon, was--but it could be a lot worse. I didn't notice this effect on Wednesday or the first part of yesterday, but the Vicodin is definitely making me a little high. Hopefully both the swelling and the pain will start to go away soon.

Today I went outside to water my friend's plants and came back after about two hours. That was enough for one day. Tomorrow I may venture to the grocery store, as I would like to work up to eating French toast and ma po tofu.

Anyway, I don't have the brain for much more than watching Elementary right now, so I am going to go back to that.
