Welcome! I will contextualize myself by saying that I attended St. Olaf College in Northfield, and that while I had an awesome experience there, I definitely always felt disappointed that the school has as few chromatic students as it does (about 15%, I believe, including international students), which was a big change from my high school in Philadelphia. Relatedly, many of my friends at Olaf who were from MN came from St. Paul and from the suburbs around Minneapolis rather than the city proper, so all of these things have undoubtedly skewed my experience of it. Now that most of my friends have moved into the Cities themselves after college, my impressions are changing, which I like a lot.
