Another fun fact: "red" Irish colouring = Viking colouring, and wasn't so desireable in Ireland, once upon a time (I no naught of the modern Irish attitude towards redheads, so I shall not speak of it, but in the Ireland of my forebearers, "red hair" = "bad blood").
