Yeah, I've gotten stuff from Book Off with Kinokuniya tags on, too. (We also have Asahiya and Sanseido for new books, as well as some smaller, no-name bookstores, but none of them stick a price tag on.)
I just wish there was a Book Off on our side of town. Now that we don't have a car, the two closest to us are still inconvenient. One can't be reached at all by bus, and the other we need to pretty much devote a day to if we're going to take the bus, so we only go when we can borrow/rent a car.
