I agree with you re feeling ambivalent about vids to Janelle Monae songs. Monae does her own vids and they are so powerful! Not that I think it can't be done, but I have yet to see a fanvid that lives up to one of her songs. And I have deep, strong feelings of sadness and betrayal about BSG, so maybe as the above commenter said, you should not finish it.
