The more I learn about Lewis, the harder it gets not to indulge in some vicious biographical criticism, particularly w/r/t his misogyny. Which, honestly, I think isn't an entirely bad thing, but I'm not sure I want to get into it here; I'm trying just to interact with the books, and that's hard enough, what with my kid!self and my now!self and the movie-vision and the fan-vision.
But, um, yeah. Jack Lewis! Lots of problems. And glad you're finding this interesting; I certainly am. Hopefully the posts on the other four will go up next week. I'm still trying to find a good mechanism for integrating posting with my class schedule.
