I'm absolutely not surprised about the contents of the list, and I don't find the listmakers' arbitrary, stupid limits particularly surprising either, which is part of why I didn't bother to offer commentary on the books themselves or on the list. We've said this all before and I'm just taking it as read. But oh is it infuriating if I let myself think about it.
