She never knew she was River; she only knew she was Melody Pond, daughter of Amy and Rory. This is the first time Amy and Rory have seen her since they found out that River's Melody, so she had no chance to know it.
For the time being, my answer to Amy's question of, "How do people find you, Doctor?" is still
Create crop circles? Graffiti the oldest cliff in the universe? Burn messages into black boxes? Try and figure out what's happening to the bees? ...
There were some fun moments, but that was definitely not the tidiest plotting Moffat's ever done.
