This is so interesting to read, because while I enjoyed watching Pacific Rim -- and also totally agree that it's Neon Genesis Evangelion as re-made by Hollywood -- I enjoyed it almost entirely for what it could have been rather than what it was.
And Raleigh was Nathan in QaF? My mind is blown. I'm kind of impressed that this was actual acting on his part.
