I did not regret it. There are GIANT JUSTICE EAGLES and also, with two notable exceptions, all of the men are at best incompetent and all the women are badass in different ways.
I have never understood* why this series wasn't a HUGE success. It's epic in scale, has dozens of POV characters, is very tightly plotted (which for all its virtues Crown of Stars wasn't exactly), and has plenty of action and great, distinct characters. Plus, Giant Justice Eagles!
I didn't know she was revisiting this world, that's excellent!
