The cobblestones here are not fucking around, and there's a lot of them.
Brussels is pretty great, especially wrt chocolate, but the thing about Belgium is that every city has multiple independent chocolatiers, plus the big three chains. In my town (I'm living outside Brussels) there's a Leonidas shop on the grote markt and a takeout-only window shop further up the main street.
