There are enough hints in this book about St. George that I have to wonder whether Sayers would have made the same choice about him. But she very obviously didn't write up The Attenbury Emeralds! The whole point of it as an origin story is that it allows Sayers to skip the origin story and it can have whatever thematic resonance it needs to--which it does to great effect in T9T.
Anyway, yeah. This one was fun and worth reading but I will not be picking up the others.
