So I got impatient and changed my journal style before I left for Japan instead of when I got there. I've been reading my guidebook to psych myself up and I, at least, can hardly blame me. To make things better I went to Fuji in Haddonfield with my old friend Stacey today--she just got back from Spain on Thursday--and damn it was delicious. I have to go back, it was downright cheap at lunch, $15 for a set meal and red-bean ice cream. Oh, so good. Hooray for set meals. I was supposed to meet [personal profile] kwviola in Philly, but we were fooled by the downpour in the morning into thinking it would rain and rescheduled. I don't mind missing the heat, though.

I saw "The Bourne Ultimatum" twice in the first three days it was out (once with Dad & Spike, the other with my old friend Christy; it was good to see her), and it was really an excellent movie, as I was expecting. I think the moral of the story would be, Don't sell what you have before you know its value (i.e. your soul). Of course, it's a complete fantasy that the CIA is anywhere near as effective as the movies portray it as being, but the reality would not make for very good cinema.

I may go get my new computer tomorrow. Probably. Also passport photos, an international driver's license, and clothes from Express, and maybe a Chinese visa. Oh lord, one month + one day until I leave for one year.
