I see Clamp haven't lost their taste for Biblical flavorings.
OMG, Shaoran Sr. Why couldn't we see his face. WHY CLAMP WHY?
And yes, according to the Kei drama CD, Watanuki is an alternate existence of Shaoran Jr. I haven't finished translating it, I'm not sure if there are any more exact details about that in the script (though I doubt it).
I think this chapter illustrates really well how Jr. is not exactly like his father. He admits his own faults! He apologizes! He smiles! He seems more mature and happier at 7 than his father was in middle school, that's for sure. And Princess Sakura too is not exactly like Jr.'s mother (in ways that I'd wager stem from Queen Nadeshiko not being dead).
