Oh, the clone died! He got a great death scene at least. The end of it was the best, really. Who'd have thought he'd acknowledge the original?

This chapter brings volume 26 to an end, which means we have at most another two dozen or so chapters (i.e. two volumes' worth) left in the series. If I had to pick two characters who haven't showed up on the deluxe covers yet I'd go with Nadeshiko and FWR. So that's another three or four months at most. Yikes.

I am personally really grateful to the clone for making FWR go away in a way that made him look surprised and upset.

Still having trouble accepting this Sakura/Syaoran as the ones I'm supposed to care about. Return of blue-eye Fai will be nice, though.

Yeah, I agree about the emotional disconnect vis-a-vis the Shaoran/Sakura pairs. In a weird way it's Kurogane and Fai who carry the emotional weight of the story, at least on the Tsubasa side.

After all the emotional hand-wringing, I'm betting something else is going to happen to that chunk of magic.

You're probably right. I still think it'd be healthier for his relationship with kurogane if he wasn't physically dependent on him, though.

The splash pages made sense now. It was all Cloney's thoughts of the group. And it only makes me sadder.... You love them don't you, even Shaoran... That makes me wish for Horitsuba as the happy ending of TRC and Holic.
