Thank you for the translation as well. And yes, Holic is somewhat quiet normally.

I really don't like Yuuko's words about parting, it bears the omen of partings in the future TT___TT As we know there will be.
But I really like that about the reasons for staying ^^

It looks like Watanuki may end up with the shop after all. Though it also looks like it would be a Cooking Therapy shop if he was running it.

Is it me, or did Yuuko not *really* appear in this chapter at all? It seemed like she was in Haruka-space throughout.

i noticed Watanuki has stopped going lovey-dovey mode around Himawari some chapters ago but this makes it even more noticeable since I found Himawari's comment both pure and cute.

I think dumdumdumbutt that perhaps the dream world and real world have slightly fused. Watanuki recognised that Kimono from his dream, which could mean he realized he was in the dream world (not very likely since he is somehow aware of what is a dream and what is not) or that he was in reality but the dream that must end is taking over reality. Just my opinion.

I'm not sure how much of the action has ever actually taken place in the waking world, since I certainly agree that the waking and the dream run into each other--they've been doing that for a while. If I understand things correctly, HOLiC is taking place in a sort of distortion in (space)time brought about by Shaoran's actions in the past, and he's attempting now to iron out the wrinkle, as it were. And Yuuko and Doumeki (who I think definitely exist independently in the waking world, unlike Watanuki) are trying to set things up so that Watanuki will be able to sort of jump into the "true" timestream as the distortion flattens--and the fact that Watanuki wants to be in the world helps make that possible.
