Thank you for the translation! I'm surprised that there's actually a sound effect for crazed grinning.

Since we know that Junior and R|Sakura were intended to enter the tube in the first place, did F.W.R. end up failing in a previous time loop? Or did he succeed, and put them there just out of sadism?

Japanese has mimesis as well as onomatopoieia, which is where SFX like "crazed grinning" come from. Oh gitaigo and giongo, I ♥ you.

My personal theory is that FWR's plans came to fruition and failed last chapter, and that now he's just nuts lashing out irrationally. He sounds like it, anyway.

That sounds awfully convenient when one wants to underscore how crazed the villain has become. XD

I was actually referring to the scene that C|Sakura saw in her dream--the one which supposedly would have happened if she and Syaoran hadn't intervened. Right now, though, it seems very likely that he's just lost his mind. How can he pay with a price that isn't his, and who is he going to pay?
