Thanks for the fast translation!
And what a shock, to think it's already his FIFTH reincarnation @__@ Knowing that, Kohaku is hardly convincing when saying she is not with him because he is the reincarnation of "Shuuichirou", even while knowing she is sincere ^^;;
Well, at least we have an idea of how far we are from Wish original timeline.
As for Kobato, well, the story is moving as slowly as ever...

Yeah, even if Shuuichirou dies ridiculously young every time, it's been at least 200 years--though honestly I don't think CLAMP is taking the timelines too seriously, Wish was set in a vaguely contemporary Japan, and so is Kobato. I do like that Kohaku seems a bit wiser these days, though.

Of course, Shuuichirou has the uncanny ability to be reincarnated not only with the same "heart," but with the same name, profession, personality, and appearance.

hehe. amused at your observation. reincarnated and still combing his hair the same way. :) as starlady said, maybe he dies young each time. that could be an interesting story...the weird coupling of an old, decrepit shuuichirou and young kohaku is thwarted by early death.
