I would just like to note that when I got home this evening it was 107º outside. For those of you in countries with rational measurement, that is 41.67º Celsius.

And right now it is 101º (38.3º C). Yup.

It's a bad, bad day to haul laundry up five flights of stairs, that's for sure.

I don't use the AC in my car because I am a cheapskate and I kept expecting myself to acclimate on the way home, but I just never did.

My car AC sucks hid teat on a bull, so I tend to only use it if I am actually on highway as it works fine when there is no stopping involved.

It started very hot, then rained off and on, and is actually pleasant. I am still not used to the potential cool-off effect that sometimes the rain brings. Further East and deeper South it ALWAYS meant worse heat, plus steam.

Ugh, ugh, ugh. So glad it's winter here, but so dreading that kind of weather in just 6 short months!
