Why judge yourself? It was a fun movie, and if we never watched anything problematic, we'd never watch anything. Well, we'd never watch movies based on comic books, anyway.

Well, that's certainly true. =) But I can't help but feel that giving Hollywood $$ (or ¥¥ in my particular case at the moment) is only encouraging bad habits.

And quite honestly having just seen it, I find it hard to think of a movie that more perfectly encapsulates so many of Hollywood's bad/failtastic practices. But that's for my post on it I suppose.

Interested in seeing your review. I acknowledge that there was much that was failtastic about that film, but I loved Eric the big damn Jewish hero so much that I gave it a pass on much of it.

Erik was the best thing about that movie by far, until the ending when the writers totally fucked it up.
