The Questions
Favorite
I made some vids I really liked this year. Probably a tie between Run Away with Me, Grapevine Fires 2.0, and I Didn't Just Come Here to Dance.

Least Favorite
I like Thra (Let Me Go) quite a lot but it's probably the one that is the biggest gap between my imagination and the execution.

Most Successful
Going by YouTube views, Run Away with Me. In terms of concrete reaction, Grapevine Fires 2.0, which people said very kind things about at the premiere and afterwards.

Most Unappreciated by the Universe
City Bird, maybe? It was received very warmly by about five people who appreciated it very much but not many more than that.

Most Fun to Make
A tie between Run Away with Me and I Didn't Just Come Here to Dance. Probably not a coincidence that both of these are CRJ songs.

Hardest Vid to Make
Grapevine Fires 2.0 took the most work--I was poking at it for most of 2019 and I still spotted an aspect ratio problem in some of the clips right before the final final submission to the con in May 2020. Also many thanks to my friends on Twitter who helped me identify some of the clips during the initial phase of source collection in 2019.

The Things I Learned This Year
I have been way more liberal with the rate stretch tool since I started the Grapevine Fires remaster. I think it has done me good, particularly in I Didn't Just Come Here to Dance.

Planning for Next Year
I managed to accomplish seven vids this year, which is pretty impressive. (Granted, only three of them were wholly executed after the pandemic started but hey.) I think I am going to keep my goal for 2021 at six, with the note that I want to get back onto the (virtual) con circuit this year--it's a lot of fun to be there in the room during premieres, and I really appreciated that experience on con discords this past summer.
