When they enter deeper into the ruins there they see Sakura at the moment of disappearance.
The three + 1 see Sakura. There the false Shaoran says "Good evening."

An unavoidable chance meeting! The time of decisive battle draws near!

Rikai-chan would like you to know that spoiler-san misspelled "Good evening."
If it's a chance meeting that was unavoidable, doesn't that mean it was inevitable, and not chance at all?

Clone Syaoran appeared to have snapped out of it last time he appeared, right?

So if he does fight Syaoran, it'd be out of anger for being placed in this situation/losing his Sakura.

But given he's a clone, and the last chapter, it seems more likely he'd offer Syaoran the opportunity to attack *him* and then join the party.
