OMFG THEY KILLED KYLE!!!! AH HA HA HA HA. I gasped and then I laughed out loud, THAT IS SO CLAMP. Also, FWR really looks like Kazuhiko in this chapter (it's the monocle). And I've seen people flip out in Clamp-land like Jr. is doing at the end before (Kamui I'm looking at you).

Who would have thought that this could escalate? Maybe we still do have two volumes left after all.

Pleased to see the other characters reacting with a 'i see what you did, and i wish you hadn't' attitude.

Considering martyrdom has been criticized so constantly in Tsubasa and Holic, it would have been wierd if they had just sniffled and moved on.

I really can't resist reading Tsubasa and HOLiC as a systematic refutation of X/1999. Everyone in that manga is convinced the future is inevitable, and the first thing they do is string themselves up á la Jesus. But in this manga everyone is convinced that changing the future is difficult but possible, and like you say, the story rejects martyrdom unequivocally.

Honestly though, they could've made a better chapter than this. What's with Kuro and that question? Does Syaoran know something else beside screaming? Fai's reaction was the best of all.

I simply adore the way Kyle died. It was perfect for him, at Kuro's hand ^^

I will always miss and like Clony better.
