I'm leaning toward Captain Marvel for Best Graphic Story, and I welcome recommendations for other categories. (Also, I'm pretty sure that my definition of "fan" and the Hugos' is very different, given how often those awards go to professional writers. I'd be tempted to nominate lettered for the "Best Fan Writer" category for Midnight Judges, in an alternate world in which "fan" meant what it actually means.)

I'm also happy to take recommendations for nominations for works by women and/or POC for the 1939 Retro-Hugos, which will cover works published in 1938. (Let's consider a discussion of the point of these awards, or lack thereof, to be tabled in perpetuity.)
