I like how Yukito is counted as a blood relation of Shaoran and Sakura. As anonymous points out below, that's much more likely to be Fujitaka.

It certainly seems that CCS!Shaoran and Sakura have been hiding in plain sight, and that CLAMP have done a bait and switch on us--Shaoran and Sakura put themselves in the tube, and Touya and Fujitaka gave the tube to Yuuko: "Here, take this tube in which my daughter and son-in-law put themselves for safekeeping! And oh btdubs, look out for my not-grandson too! KTHNXBAI!"

But then why did Touya and Yukito ignore Watanuki?

Good point. I can't remember whether Fujitaka is taller than Touya (I think not?).

I also heard the same thing from vickyyunkamiya, and she strongly belives that's Fujitaka, and not Yukito. I see Yukito's hair there, because I don't remember Fujitaka having that hair hanging in front in the same way.

That one headshot is getting to be a Rorschach test, I swear. :-) I suppose my results reveal that Touya/Yukito are my OTP.

Yeah, I don't know. My first thought was Yukito, but the text says "blood relations," so that leaves me with ?? My only other thought was that Shaoran Jr. conspicuously didn't think, "Hey, the King looks like Grandfather!" when he arrived in Clow-koku, so maybe Fujitaka has died by the time Jr. was born? Or something? But that's extremely tenuous, really.

At this point I'm just waiting for the next chapter. :-)

You have a very good idea there about the grandfather, which would work if Jr. didn't know Nadeshiko by her pictures, because who's to say he couldn't know his grandad by pictures as well.

Anyway, I've been avoiding theorising for the past 4 volumes of the manga at least because every time I try to figure Clamp out, it always shocks me with something completely unimaginable. So I do the same as you, just wait for the next chapter and see if there's some enlightment at last.

I liked it how they counted Yuki as a blood relation too. I may have squeed... Thanks for the translation!

I'm still fracking confused. Damn typical CLAMP raising more questions than they answer! Atleast CCS! Syao and Sakura are alive.
(Damnit, I want to see Yue still! just for the different style even!)

I'm intrigued though, 3 different translations, and all say 'children'. Are we to assume then that CSS! Syao and Sakura have more children than Jr? Or, assuming they tubed themselves after the Jr rewind, are they reffering to Jr, Sakura and Watanuki I wonder?

Good catch on the "children"--I was tempted to use a different word at a few points, but the same word is used in the Japanese, so I wanted to keep that subtlety in there. Also, I think part of it is that Yuuko is much older than all the Shaorans and Sakuras, so she refers to all of them as "children": CCS!Shaoran & Sakura, the travelers, and also Watanuki & Jr.

Also, as Anonymouse points out above, that fair-headed dude is possibly (probably likely, imo) Fujitaka.

ETA: I definitely am assuming that they tubed themselves post-rewind, though I don't really have any concrete basis for that assumption other than Watanuki's knowing that his parents died in an accident (at about the same age Jr. was when he went to Clow country and rewound time, not coincidentally). But those memories could be FWR's curse, so I don't know. But I'm not sure there would have been a reason for S&S to tube themselves until Jr. had made his choice, since everything depended on what he chose.
